CCC NON-RESIDENTIAL CENTERS
Just one year in the California Conservation Corps can provide the paid training a young adult needs to jumpstart their career.
The California Conservation Corps has immediate openings at its non-residential centers where Corpsmembers receive:
- Monthly stipend $2,814
- Up to $8,000 in scholarships
- Industry recognized certifications
- Hands-on training
- Finish their high school diploma
Our non-residential centers offer training in forestry, wildland firefighting, energy conservation, trails, fisheries, and more! This training and education allow Corpsmembers to emerge from the program with the minimum qualifications for entry level jobs in CAL FIRE, State Parks, National Park Service, US Forest Service, Caltrans, Fish and Wildlife along with private sector and local government positions.
Corpsmembers must be 18-25-years-old or U.S. military veterans under 30 years old.
Scroll down to find the center nearest you and share the information with a young adult searching for a career path.
It doesn’t matter if they have a four-year degree or still needing to finish high school or justice involved. We work with all young adults to put them on track for transforming their lives and becoming the person they want to be!
