The California Conservation Corps offers young adults the opportunity to work and live at nine centers with on-site housing across California. Alternatively, you can stay closer to home and report to one of our 15 non-residential locations throughout the state.
The CCC recognizes that all California Native American tribes, whether federally recognized or not, have distinct cultural, spiritual, environmental, economic, and public health interests, with unique traditional ecological knowledge and deep place-based relationship with their ancestral lands across California. The CCC’s centers are located on these ancestral homelands, and the CCC is committed to early, often, and meaningful consultations with tribes. The CCC also encourages local tribes to reach out to the CCC and its centers for opportunities to collaborate or consult on anything of impact to those tribes.
