Chico Corpsmember Sarah Tryon hauls a 15-pound sandbag during flood fighter training in Red Bluff, CA.

Crew leader Sarah Tryon says if you’ve got a positive attitude and a good crew you can do anything – even haul 15-pound sandbags all day in a cold rain storm.

She joined the CCC Chico Center for the scholarships, but she’s also found a lot of career opportunities she hadn’t considered. Sarah believes you can do it too.
