Culinary Corpsmember Rayven Harris readies her oven mitts as she prepares appetizers during a kitchen competition at CCC Tahoe Center.

When Rayven Harris enrolled in the CCC’s Tahoe Center she made the kitchen her home. She’s cooking up meals and learning lots of lessons as a member of the Culinary Program.

Dozens of Corpsmembers across the state are getting hands-on experience in the expanding field of food service.

Rayven sees the CCC as a great alternative to college that’s helping her prepare for a possible career as a commercial chef.
