Buzzing weedwhackers and noisy chainsaws could be considered a nuisance.

But, in the East Bay hills it’s the sound of relief.

CCC Napa Center Corpsmembers are clearing overgrown brush and trees; working right up to the fence line of homes to create a fire break that could be a literal lifesaver from wildfire.
