Corpsmember Sarai Ayala cheers on her Delta Center crew as they work in Paradise, CA. Sarai says developing close bonds with Corpsmembers is one of the best parts of the CCC.

Hard Work, Low Pay, Miserable Conditions, And More! is the CCC motto. Everyone experiences the hard work and miserable conditions, but the “And More”, that’s something unique for every Corpsmember.

For crewleader Sarai Ayala at the CCC Delta Center, the And More is many things; It’s a chance to earn scholarship money, find a good job and make everlasting bonds with Corpsmembers and staff.

We caught up with Sarai as her crew worked on a boardwalk project in Martinez and then while she was on an emergency call out in the Town of Paradise, where her crew worked to install drainage inlet treatments on storm grates.
