Governor’s Budget Expands CCC Role to Create California For All
Governor Gavin Newsom released Thursday his spending plan that includes the addition of CCC wildland firefighting crews and a forestry corps within the CCC.
Tahoe Center Chopped
The CCC culinary program provides Corpsmembers with hands-on experience of running a large kitchen. Culinary crews help feed their fellow Corpsmembers and take classes about cooking.
Redding Riffle Restoration
The banks of the Sacramento River in Redding are a little easier to navigate these days, after Corpsmembers helped remove invasive species and plant native trees and bushes in the Turtle Bay park area.
Tahoe Cold Creek Fuel Reduction
The CCC Tahoe Center works to keep its community safe. Corpsmembers regularly work on projects to protect the Lake Tahoe Basin’s forests and residents from wildfire.
