A dozen years closed to the public. Tens of thousands of work hours by Corpsmembers. The Pfeiffer Falls Trail in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park is once again open to the public.

Corpsmembers from CCC Los Padres and  Monterey Bay centers, as well as the Backcountry Trails Program, all contributed to the hard work of repairing the damaged hiking trail over the last few years.

The trail closed in 2008 due to the Basin Complex Fire. We’re proud to have helped our partners, California State Parks and the Save the Redwoods League, get this beautiful, popular place back and better than ever.
