CCC Director Bruce Saito looks on as Corpsmembers are served the first meal at the new Placer Center kitchen.

It’s a moment Corpsmembers and staff have been waiting for and it’s now official.

The CCC Placer Center moved back into it’s home in Auburn in early February.

For the last few years, Corpsmembers have operated out of the nearby CCC Greenwood Center in El Dorado County.

Corpsmembers would regularly commute, about 45 minutes, to the Auburn location for work while a new multi-purpose building, with kitchen, dining hall, and recreation activities, and dormitory were built.
