Backcountry Corpsmembers Packed, Ready to Work

If you think packing for a weeklong trip is tough, wait until you try to pack for five months living off-the-grid. Our CCC Backcountry Trails Program Corpsmembers have to pick and choose what essentials and extras to take them deep into the backcountry. After all, they only have one pack and they have to carry it for miles upon miles. Of course, there’s excitement about the prospect of working that far away from social media and the work they’ll be doing as the backcountry season hikes off into high gear.
