It’s said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. For CCC Placer Corpsmembers, a good meal is important to be ready for a day of hard work on fire, forestry, and trails crew.

In early morning hours it’s the culinary crew working the ovens, staffing the stove top, and cutting up fruits, veggies and everything else.

Culinary Corpsmembers learn more than just how to cook for 80-plus people, they’re learning life and work skills that can apply to any field.
