Emergency Response Work Named National Project of the Year
More than one million hours of emergency response work. That sentence sums up 2020 for Corpsmembers in the CCC.
From wildfires, base camps, and erosion control to COVID response at food banks, surge hospitals and elsewhere.
The Corps Network honored the CCC’s emergency response as a national Project of the Year during its 2021 National Conference.
The honor recognizes both our young adults and staff for the tremendous amount of work accomplished and communities impacted in 2020.
The calendar has changed, but the emergency work continues at vaccination sites, food banks, and we’re getting ready for wildfire season.
