It’s especially inspiring and powerful when that history lesson coincides with active service and positive community impact.

It’s how our Placer and Sacramento Corpsmembers spent a recent day off, learning about the history of Black Miners Bar at Folsom Lake State Recreation Area and cleaning up the area for future generations to learn at and explore.
