CCC Pomona Corpsmembers recently took on a unique project; they removed parking lot asphalt at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area—a popular east L.A. County park—to help replenish the water table and avoid pollution in standing water.

New projects, new tools, new experiences; all in the name of making local parks look and feel new and improved.
