Smolt are little guys – salmon or trout – who are ready to migrate out to sea for the first time. The CCC’s Watershed Stewards Program (with funding from AmeriCorps and CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife) is helping count the number of smolt migrating downstream along the Point Reyes National Seashore. We caught up with two Corpsmembers, Priscilla and Adelaide, trapping smolt and loving their hard work, low pay, miserable conditions and a whole lot more!
