At the CCC Redding Center, roughly half of the Shasta 1 fire crew experiences first-hand how the CCC could prepare them for careers in wildland firefighting.

Eight Corpsmembers are now moving on to local fire academies. It’s a major next step for these young adults.

With the help of CCC scholarships and hands-on fire line experience, these CCC alums are proving how a year in the CCC can jumpstart your career in wildland firefighting.
