What’s old is new again. The CCC Greenwood Center is undergoing a long overdue renovation. The center, located in El Dorado County, has been in use by the California Conservation Corps for decades. And, the buildings were showing their age.
Starting earlier this year, demolition and construction got underway to create a new future at the center.
A total of 11 new buildings are springing up, and by the end of 2026 may house as many as 100 Corpsmembers.
