CCC Culinary, Like Cooking Thanksgiving Dinner ... Every Day

Magalia Culinary Corpsmember Morgan Twardowski uses their knife skills to prep vegetables for a dinner meal.

As families across California prepare to serve feasts to a large crowd at dinner this holiday, for the Corpsmembers of the CCC Magalia Fire Center culinary crew it’ll be like any other day in the office.

Imagine cooking for more than 70 hungry firefighters, every day.

It requires practice, preparation, and communication. In the CCC culinary program, Corpsmembers learn the skills not only to keep their fellow young adults fed, but to take the next step in their culinary careers.

Now, that’s what we’d call a delicious opportunity.
