Every tree limbed. Every invasive removed. These small differences add up to a much larger vision: a more fire resilient Pasadena.
CCC Los Angeles and CCC Pomona Corpsmembers have seen the small differences firsthand this year as they’ve worked with the city to remove fire fuels and invasive species along Arroyo Seco.
The Eaton Fire of 2025 remains fresh on everyone’s minds and the fuel reduction work completed should help ease those concerns. It’s the kind of project activity where Corpsmembers are expanding their knowledge and making a real impact on a community.
The legacy of this project will hopefully be a fire-free Pasadena for years to come. It’s another way the CCC makes an impact across California communities every day.
