Sacramento Energy Corpsmembers discuss their findings as they review the HVAC system atop the State Railroad Museum in Old Town Sacramento.

If you frequent some of our state’s great museums and indoor spaces, you may not pay too close attention to the lighting.

Fortunately, CCC Sacramento Energy Corpsmembers are illuminated on which bulbs go where and how much wattage and energy they use.

Crews have recently helped California State Parks survey and audit the energy use at some of the Capital District’s museums.

Whether it’s the HVAC system, a display case, or even the boiler room, Corpsmembers visited every stop on this ride to energy savings at the State Railroad Museum.
