Enable Third-Party Cookies
In order to successfully login to the CCC Application Portal you may need to ensure that third-party cookies are enabled on your web browser.
Each web browser is different in how to do this and which device you are using may also impact the process.
On this page, please find links and instructions to some of the more popular web browsers’ process for enabling third-party cookies.
Google Chrome
Please visit Google Support’s “Delete, allow and manage cookies in Chrome” help page for instructions, or follow the steps below for a desktop/laptop computer:
- Open a Chrome window
- At the top right of the browser, select the vertical three dots
- Select ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Privacy and security’ > ‘Third-party cookies’
- Under “Sites allowed to use third-party cookies,” select ‘Add’
- Enter the web address
- Insert a [*.] before the domain name
- *.ccc.ca.gov
- Select ‘Add’
Please note that Incognito windows in Chrome always block third-party cookies and should not be used to access the CCC Application Portal.
Microsoft Edge
Please visit Microsoft Support’s “Manage cookies in Microsoft Edge: View, allow, block, delete and use” help page, or follow the instructions below:
- Open an Edge browser window
- Select ‘Settings and more’ horizontal three dots in the upper right corner of your browser window
- Select ‘Settings’ icon > ‘Cookies and site permissions’
- Select ‘Manage and delete cookies and site data’
- Navigate to ‘Allow’ section
- Select ‘Add’ to allow cookies on a per-site basis by entering the site’s URL
- ccc.ca.gov
Mozilla Firefox
Please visit Mozilla Support’s “Third-party cookies and Firefox tracking protection” support page, and scroll down to “Enable third-party cookies for specific sites” section for instructions, or follow the steps below:
- Visit ccc.ca.gov in a Firefox web browser window
- Left of the address bar, where you enter the URL, click the shield icon
- At the top of the panel, toggle off the Enhanced Tracking Protection switch
- A blue bar with a white circle inside of it
- This will disable Enhanced Tracking Protection for the site, causing the page to automatically reload and enable trackers
Apple Safari
Please visit Apple Support’s official webpage and search for topics. Apple Support does not provide an official solution, but many threads are easily found providing resources.
Below are options CCC staff found online, please refer to Apple Support for the latest fixes.
Desktop/laptop:
- Open Safari
- In the top menu, click on Safari, then select Preferences
- Go to the Privacy tab
- Under the Cookies and website data section, uncheck the option labeled Block all cookies
- Ensure the option Prevent cross-site tracking is unchecked (this allows third-party cookies)
- Close the preferences window to save your settings and restart the application if necessary
iPhone, aka iOS, 18.3.1:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Scroll down and tap Apps, then scroll down again and tap Safari
- Under the Privacy & Security section, toggle off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
- To turn off Block All Cookies, scroll down and tap Advanced
- Ensure that Block All Cookies is turned off (this allows third-party cookies)
- Exit Settings; the changes will be saved automatically
- Close and reopen the application if necessary
iPhone, aka iOS, older versions:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
- Scroll down and tap Safari
- Under the Privacy & Security section, toggle off Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
- Ensure that Block All Cookies is turned off (this allows third-party cookies)
- Exit Settings; the changes will be saved automatically
- Close and reopen the application if necessary
