Redwood Creek Trail

CCC Solano Corpsmembers are teaming up with the CA State Park’s Trails Crew to rehab the area. They’re busy installing brand-new steel and wood bridges to make the trail accessible again for hikers, bikers, and even horse riders!

There are kinds of visitors who come to Mt. Tamalpais State Park for a day, or longer, of exploring. That includes hikers, bikers, and even horses.

The infrastructure for all of those users to safely traverse the park’s trails weren’t always in the best condition. Corpsmembers with the CCC Solano Center are working to change that under the guidance of California State Parks’ Statewide Trails Crew.

The crew is not only helping improve the access to one of California’s most scenic parks, but helping themselves network and grow their trail building careers.
