“…it makes me proud, this is the work i’m doing, and we’re just helping the public. “

Some projects offer stunning views. Some are challenging physically and mentally. Occasionally, projects offer both. Atop the bluffs overlooking Point Dume State Beach in Malibu, CCC Los Angeles Corpsmembers are transforming a well-worn trail with rusted railings, unstable benches, and decaying steps into a safer, more accessible viewpoint.
Known as the whale watching viewpoint, Corpsmembers have spotted dolphins and the hard work ahead. The trail isn’t easy to climb, especially with tools, but making this trail safer for the public makes it all worth it.
