Finding a career you can be passionate about and enjoy, is not unlike a windy river. There are turns, possible surprises, and hopefully a scenic view at the end. In the California Conservation Corps, helping young adults navigate their way into successful careers and opportunities is what we’re all about. Crew leader Caitlin Patterson from the CCC Chico Center is currently interning with the California Department of Water Resources. She’s getting hands-on, as well as waders-on, experience of the various career opportunities DWR houses.
