The Art of Trail Maintenance: Corpsmembers Communicate & Collaborate

One Corpsmember passes an armful of brush to another.

Corpsmembers work together to remove brush from a trail in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, passing it off to stash in a key hole away from the public.

Corpsmembers take pride in the hard work they do across California. For our San Diego Center Corpsmembers, that pride comes from making trails safer for the public to travel and experience at Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. The amount of brush they’re clearing is hard to fathom at times. But, there’s a love for the challenge and the techniques to return trails to use for the public.
