Those three benefits are just part of why Corpsmember Amanda Morrisroe joined the CCC Tahoe Center.

She thought about the Marines, but ultimately wanted to find a career in firefighting.

The opportunity to work and learn from CAL FIRE captains was a big draw for Amanda.

Now, she’s the drag spoon keeping her crew’s hand line clean and helping herself to a fire career.
