The CCC’s Tahoe Center has worked in the South Lake Tahoe Basin for more than two decades.  The center completes thousands of hours each year on local projects promoting the regrowth of forests and limiting soil erosion around the lake.

Lake Tahoe is known internationally for its water clarity and the Tahoe Center’s mission is to assist in “Keeping Tahoe Blue.”  The residential facility, located in Meyers, is about five miles from the City of South Lake Tahoe and is home to 80 corpsmembers. The center is currently planning an expansion that will include a new kitchen and administrative wing.
